The Illinois Novaree is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) based youth seminar facilitated by students of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We utilize many of the unique research facilities/resources on campus to expose students to a broad variety of STEM fields. Typically, our seminar consists of two sessions run on two different Saturdays in April. During each session, students will engage in interactive and hands-on STEM classes taught on campus such as aviation, robotics, chemistry, radio, railroading, architecture, and much more.

With all the positive feedback we’ve received from previous years we’re excited to announce that we have begun planning for the 2018 Illinois Novaree! Our sessions for this upcoming year are set to be on April 7th and April 14th. For more information about this year’s Novaree, click through the tabs found above. If you would like to receive automatic email updates, please enter your email and click the follow button on the right.

The cost for the event is $15 for both days and $9 for a single day. This fee covers an event patch, a pin if you attended a previous Novaree, and any class materials that may be required. We ask our students to please bring their own lunches to the event as we can’t provide food due to university regulations. Our flier can be found here.
